”AKVO” is a short experimental film approaching water as the carrier of historical memories and tales of social struggles. The film connects footage of Rotterdam’s Maas river with a myriad of narratives that include sci-fi, myths and snippets from the news. In the end the film became an assemblage of different voices and an attempt to understand the role that water plays in our collective histories.
