Helena Łomnicka (PL) is a writer and researcher of contemporary spirituality with a lifelong fascination for the transcendent. She holds a BA in Cultural Analysis and an MA in the History of Esotericism, what makes her particularly interested in investigating different manifestations of the relationship between the spiritual and the political. In recent years, her research has focused on neo-Marxist perspectives on spirituality, the analysis of modern esoteric discourse and site-specific explorations of occult topographies such as the “places of power”. Using methods of text, workshop and esoteric practice in different contexts she aims to give visibility to other forms of knowledge and examine the relevance of themes such as belief, myth and magic for the modern world.
